…And the second. XD
Hey, I am back with another post about what I’m going to be blogging about today. Yeah. :| XD
I’m sorry if I didn’t push through with the haul post. My main excuse is because I don’t have functional laptop and due to that, it became tedious to blog because I have to borrow laptops from my siblings here and there.
Fortunately, my mom’s Mac is free from my sister’s clutches today, so I will be blogging with a bit of ease today. Yay!
Regarding the title of the blog… Well it’s pretty obvious that I have an agenda today, and part of it is continuing my Pamper-Myself-Day blog. So there you go! That’s the first order of business for today; continue the blog I left hanging. :))
I hope I can make the haul post soon. I just have to charge my camera—which I’ve been too lazy to charge as well. XD Hopefully I can get my laptop fixed soon as well so that I don’t have to bribe people into letting me lend their laptops. So I’m done with this post. I shall now be moving on to writing my Pamper-Myself-Day part 2 blog. :)

Story of my life. :)))$

Well, what can I say? It’s finally graduation day and I woke up way too early because I set my alarm at 0600. I don’t know; it just seemed right to set at six when I was on my way to REM sleep.
Partly—wait, no. Actually all of me doesn’t know what to feel about this day. I can’t say for sure that I’m happy. And I can’t really say for sure that I’m anxious as well. People on every social networking site is posting about how happy/excited/thankful they are. I’m jealous of their certainty. Jealous of how they can speak their minds because they’re ascertained of what to say. I on the other hand, am rambling on about the vagueness of it all here on my Tumblr page.
I wish I was more involved. To think that I’ll be doing my makeup alone later, and packing my gala and toga even later still; I’ve no words for it. Is this apathy? Am I thinking that just because this day is just another milestone among what I’m sure are much more? Is it fear of mot knowing what will become of my life when the reviews and the boards finally come? Gratitude? Joy? Excitement? I really don’t know! All I know is that I’m confused as shit (sorry). Damn (sorry again).
Maybe when I’m there, with my gala finally on, I’d feel it all. All at once? Or one at a time? I’ve yet to find out. And I hope that I do find out. I’m not really a fan of feelings of doubt and uncertainty.
I guess that’s it. Sorry to have bored you all with this. And thank you to those who spared a little of their time to read this. :)
Yay! I don’t get to write an author’s note regarding excusing myself for the typographical errors due to some difficulty in typing on the very small iPod touch keyboard. Fortunately my brother’s laptop was available for borrowing.
Disclaimer: I don’t know the secrets to making your hair perfect. I don’t have marvelous hair myself, but I do what I can just so it won’t dry up and end up frizzy. Thank you. :)
By the way, I am very sorry if this post was delayed. I was too absorbed in my Star Wars marathon with my sister.
Moving on to the actual subject of the matter: My Home-Based Spa Day. :D
As some of you may know, tomorrow is the 34th commencement exercises of MMC-CN. The very event where the batch 2012 candidates for graduation will move on to receiving their most awaited and sought-after diplomas. In short, it’s graduation day for our batch! Yay for us! :D That is the very reason why I have put upon myself the responsibility to leave this day agenda-free as a form of service to myself. All those four years in nursing wasn’t a stroll in the park you know. So I say I deserve a day for myself. A day to relax, make myself pretty, and watch how corrupted intergalactic governments resolve their societal problems.
Today’s pampering regimen involved subjecting my hair, face, body and feet to some feel-good treatment. And it was a long process, I must tell you. I woke up at around 0800, started working on my body at 0900, and ended at around 1300. The reason for the post delay was the fault of intergalactic politics.
Proceeding to the whole process then! Okay. I started out with my hair, thus making it a head-to-toe process.
So for the hair, I usually just use Virgin coconut oil, a hair brush, a headband and a scrunchie.

Sorry if there’s no scrunchie and headband in the image. I only realized that I needed it when I was done slathering oil all over my scalp. XD
So what I do with the oil is pour a tablespoon of it in my hand like so…
You can then rub your hands together to spread the product evenly, or you could just slap it onto your scalp and then spread it there. I personally my hands together first and then massage the oil on my scalp like this…
Make sure to not miss out any parts of your scalp! And don’t forget the tips too!
Okay. Just like your hot oil treatment at the salon, you usually leave it on for at least 10-15 minutes. But you can also opt to leave it on overnight and then wash it in the morning. I used to do that before schedules got hectic and so on…
And finally, when your hair and scalp is completely and evenly covered in coconut oil, you can proceed to brushing your hair 100 times. YES, 100 times. It’s very grade school of me to tell you that, because I’m sure you have all heard this in HELE (or whatever you call it) back in your primary education days. We’ve all heard it, but for the sake of emphasis, I shall reiterate. Brushing your hair helps release natural oils that nourish hair by opening up the pores and stimulating the sebaceous gland. It can also help in absorbing the coconut oil. :)

I don’t know how you do the brushing count, but what I like to do is I brush a certain region a hundred times. So considering that there’s your parietal and occipital regions that’s covered with hair, I brush my hair a good 400 times (divide each region into 2). XD
And when you’re done with all that brushing, you can tie up your hair and put a headband on just so it won’t get in your face, or spread oil all over the back of your shirt (or in my case, my daster). :))

So that’s it for the hair, basically. I left my hair soaked in coconut oil for a good 4 hours before I rinsed it off. And the reason is fairly explained in my next post, which will be regarding my facial! :D Yay! So I’m gonna end here for the hair part. See you in a bit. :))
Look at the water. Lol. Ew. :)) glad I cleaned ‘em. :)) (Taken with instagram)
